Is there a way to treat a well that tests positive for e-coli? - e coli treatment more condition_symptoms

We want to buy a house. The well tested positive for the bacterium E. coli. The city has advised us to install a filtration system for the treatment of filtering e-coli, but I'm on the safety of contaminated water is filtered worried. Is there a way to solve this problem as well?
The deeper drilling to solve the problem?
The municipality said the drilling of a well, the same results can be achieved.
Any suggestion is welcome.

Choose a local body that treatment or water purification and talk to them not, how much does it cost to install a treatment, and any other information they have. You can also speak with a drill, but he is never sure what you get when you drill and if the city says you can accomplish the same result if you are getting deeper, perhaps this is a widespread problem in your area.
