Bleeding between periods is almost always caused by a change in hormone levels, and age is probably perimenopause. Your doctor can help lower doses of hormones that regulate and facilitate the transition to menopause prescribe, but if you smoke, quit ... Generally do not provide medical hormonal treatment for smokers ... the risk of blood clots is too important.

Bleeding between periods is a matter that must be verified, but it could very well be that you are entering peri-menopause. Ask your doc for a definitive diagnosis. Also, because her breasts were always normal does not mean that something may not have changed since the last one. Ask your doc though.

I would consult your doctor. Are you on the pill or another form of birth control? Who can bleed easily. Are you under stress lately? Their diet is radically different or a lot of sports? The only way to know for sure is that to see doc.
